Dog Licenses

Dogs, age 6 months and older, must be licensed before December 31st each year. Proof of current Rabies Shot and Neutering must be shown.

The fee for a neutered dog is $6.00 each. Dogs that are capable of producing offspring are $10.00 each. Kennel licenses for 1 to 10 dogs are $42.00. Late fees charged after January 1st are $15.00 for each dog. If a warrant is issued by the City Clerks office the late fee is increased to $25.00 for each dog.

The license is used to identify lost or stray dogs and make sure they are returned to the owner.
