Brewer's Small Business Assistance Program

Navigating the Site Selection Process

“Location, Location, Location” Workshop
November 8th in Brewer

Every day small businesses in our region struggle with the question of location. Whether it’s a decision about moving, adding a location, buying a building or leasing, there are many factors to consider.  Brewer Business Resources will present a unique workshop on November 8 to help small business owners and entrepreneurs with this process.

“Location, Location, Location: Site Selection for the Small Business” will be held from 6 to 8 pm at the Muddy Rudder in Brewer on Thursday, November 8.

RSVPs are encouraged to efago@brewerme.org.

The presenter for this workshop is Tanya Pereira from the City of Brewer’s Economic Development Office along with our City Planner Linda Johns.  Learn from our experience helping businesses evaluate sites and navigate the planning process, and take away some real world lessons
for your own business.

Deb Neuman, host of Back to Business on WVOM 103.9 FM, will be the host for the discussion.  A well-known small business expert, Deb was recently named the Small Business Journalist of the Year award by the SBA.

Run by the City of Brewer’s Economic Development office, Brewer Business Resources (BBR) brings in business experts to provide free technical assistance to all area entrepreneurs.  All of the programs of Brewer Business Resources are free and open to small business owners and entrepreneurs from the entire region. The workshops are made possible through the support of Bangor Savings Bank,
TD Banknorth, Merrill Bank,
Cumulus Broadcasting, and
103.9 WVOM FM, a Clear Channel Station.
