This office serves the City in several areas. The City Clerk is clerk to the City Council and prepares agendas for and minutes of council meetings. The office is also responsible for the city's overall records management program. Vital records, such as birth certificates, marriage licenses and death certificates, are prepared by the clerk's staff. The city clerk is the supervisor of all elections. All business and occupation licenses are processed in the office.
