The Brewer City Clerk's has records of birth, deaths and marriages from 1812 to present. To obtain information on records in the Brewer City Clerk's office, contact the office by phone 207-989-7050. For inquiries involving numerous records, it is advisable to call the office to schedule an appointment. Appointments are necessary to allow our staff time to assist patrons with their genealogy research. We also welcome written requests for record searches. There will be a charge for research and response to written requests for genealogical information based on the amount of time required to fulfill such requests. Persons interested in genealogical research should also know that the State of Maine Archives has information on births, deaths and marriages for all towns and cities in the State, including the City of Brewer. Indexes of those records may be obtained from the State of Maine's Internet site
