Veterans Exemptions

If you served in the Armed Forces of the United States during a Federally Recognized War period, are 62 years of age on or before April 1, you may apply for the Veteran’s Exemption. If you are the un-remarried widow of a veteran who would qualify for the Veteran’s Exemption, you may also file for the exemption. Forms for both of these Exemptions are available in the Assessing Department or online at the Maine Revenue Services.
