Veterans' Memorial Bricks On Sale
The City of Brewer is currently selling engraved
bricks to honor all military veterans and to also raise money for a
perpetual fund to maintain the new Veteran’s Memorial.
Located at the Brewer Auditorium, the engraved
bricks will be placed in the walkway that surrounds the memorial. The
$50.00 fee will cover the cost of the brick as well as future
maintenance costs. Each brick will contain three lines, with 20 spaces
per line for the veteran’s name, rank, and branch served.
Our next order will be placed in early August. Make sure you get your
application in early.
Applications for the bricks are available at the
Brewer Parks & Recreation Department, during normal business hours;
Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM
